About Me
I was born a writer.
I hear voices, too. I can’t even remember a time when I wasn’t listening to the whispers of my characters telling me their stories. What else could I do but put them down on paper? Otherwise, how would we find out what they want, how they lived their lives, or followed their dreams.
My love of reading and writing started with Nancy Drew, my ultimate hero growing up in a small beach town in New Jersey. I’d spend hours reading until the mystery was solved—even if it took the whole morning on my beach towel. Sometimes, Laura Ingalls Wilder would just have to wait for me until the afternoon to go fishing on the banks of Plum Creek.
After earning my degree in Literature/Language, I realized my stories couldn’t wait any longer. So here I am, writing thrillers that I hope you will love to read on your beach towel or wherever you like to be swept away!
My latest short stories appear in Tick Tock: A Stitch in Crime anthology and Christmas Cookies Mysteries: An Anthology Inspired by The Oak Ridge Boys Christmas Cookies Album.
When I’m not writing, you can find me reading on my beach chair with a coffee in my hand, grabbing lunch at my favorite diner, or visiting the library.
I live at the magnificent Jersey Shore with my husband and family.
Happy Reading,
Christine
